1. They will always remember and treasure the time you had tea.
Think of a special memory you have that involves spending time with someone you love. Most positive memories start with someone who purposely set other things aside to truly engage, and listen to things that were important to you. When you take time to stop distractions, and truly show someone that spending time with them is important, you will create a safe environment for them to feel that they are valuable.
2. You create a habit to take time to impose self care.
As we all know, adulthood is full of important things that must get done. One of the things we most often forget is to take time to care for ourselves. If we learn to take that time early, we can create in them a habit to take a break and recharge. Tea time is the perfect time to read a book or meditate and spend quiet time that calms the soul.
3. Creates an environment of creativity.
When we create time to stop doing whatever we have to do and relax, we open the door to creativity. Pretend Tea Parties are full of ways to practice creativity. Our imagination is one of our most important assets and we should take time to fortify and care for it. Through imagination is where things have been created to enhance our lives. When we encourage imagination, we teach our kids that creativity is valuable and important.

Kids are not too young to learn etiquette and good communication skills. The earlier they learn, the more skilled they will be. Manners and etiquette can build a child’s confidence. When they feel confident to communicate and behave properly, they will gain skills that will follow them throughout their lives that will reflect on them in a positive light. Having Tea regularly is a perfect way to regularly practice and reinforce those skills in a fun way, without pressure. Practice makes perfect!
